About The Gallery
The Gallery at Penn College is host to numerous exhibitions throughout the year, including the Current View Artist Series, sponsored by the Art Department.This series of six exhibits scheduled during the academic year showcases contemporary artists working in a variety of media, and typically includes an artist’s talk and a gallery talk. Exhibits provide an opportunity to broaden and enrich the educational experience at Penn College. Entries for this series are juried and selected by a committee of art faculty. The Gallery at Penn College strives to be an important instructional resource for students and a cultural asset to Pennsylvania College of Technology and local communities. The Gallery is dedicated to promoting art appreciation and understanding through its exhibitionsof traditional and contemporary art. Through the presentation of exhibits, lectures, and special events, The Gallery upholds the mission of Penn College and offers opportunities to develop intellectually, ethically, socially, culturally, and personally.
The Gallery is also the venue for special exhibits and events highlighting works that range from local collections to international traveling exhibitions. All exhibits are open to the public free of charge.
Regular Hours
- Saturday & Sunday: 1 - 4 p.m.
- Tuesday & Thursday: 2 - 8 p.m.
- Wednesday & Friday: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Closed Monday
- The Gallery is closed during all College holidays and breaks

Location
Third floor (Room 303) of the Madigan Library. During open hours, the gallery is accessible by elevator or stairs, both located inside the front entrance of the Madigan Library.
Penn College is within three to five hours driving distance from major cities, including New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. The campus also is a one-hour drive from Penn State, Susquehanna, Mansfield, Lock Haven, Bloomsburg, and Bucknell universities.
Parking
Visitors may use the parking lot in front of the Student and Administrative Services Center (SASC). Limited parking is available behind the Madigan Library.

Pennsylvania Artisan Trial
The Gallery at Penn College is a destination on the Pennsylvania Artisan Trail. Route 15 ByWay of the Arts is one of several Artisan Trails located in scenic traffic corridors throughout the state. The Artisan Trails offer guided weekend packages and self-guided road trips provided by select lodging, dining, and artisan partners. Each Trail attempts to capture the unique essence of its local area.
