Brenda Abplanalp, Directorof North Campus Outreach Services

Brenda Abplanalp

Brenda is responsible for recruiting in Bradford, Potter, and Tioga counties.

Brenda is a native of Tioga County. She graduated from the University of Rochester School of Nursing and holds a Master’s degree in Education from Mansfield University.

Although Brenda works at the North Campus, she visits schools in her territory to provide information about majors offered at the main campus in Williamsport, PA. Brenda gives prospective students an overview of campus life and assists students in the application process. She is happy to refer questions to the appropriate person on main campus.

Todd Leister, Admissions Officer

Todd Leister

Todd is responsible for recruiting in portions of South Central Pennsylvania (Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, Perry, and York counties), and Northern Maryland (Baltimore, Carroll, Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Frederick, Montgomery, and Prince George counties).

Todd is originally from Adams County, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Penn State.

Todd has worked for Penn College's Admissions Office since January 1998. Early in his Admissions career he visited schools in the western portion of Pennsylvania.

He also performs transfer evaluations for students entering a major within the School of Health Sciences. If you have questions about any of the majors within our School of Health Sciences or if you live in one of the counties within his territory, he would love to hear from you.

Philip Berry, Admissions Representative

Philip Berry

Phil is responsible for recruiting portions of Northeastern Pennsylvania (Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming counties), a portion of Southeastern New York (Duchess, Orange, and Ulster counties), Connecticut (Fairfield, Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, and New Haven counties), and Massachusetts.

Phil started at Penn College in 1999. Prior to working for Penn College he spent several years in a retail setting after completing his degree at Penn State.

Phil has met with many wonderful students and families who have explored Penn College as a stepping stone to a fantastic education and career. He also performs transfer evaluations for students entering a major within the Schools of Integrated Studies or Construction & Design Technologies. If you have questions about any of the majors within these schools or if you live in one of the counties within his territory, he would love to hear from you.

His interests are varied and include mountain biking, camping, hiking, road trips, music of all kinds with a particular interest in Bluegrass, baseball (Go Sox!), and spending time with family and friends.

Benjamin Mayer, Admissions Representative

Benjamin Mayer

Ben is responsible for recruiting portions of Southeastern Pennsylvania (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties), Southern New Jersey (Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, and Salem counties), and Delaware (New Castle county).

Ben is a native of Williamsport and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Lycoming College.

Ben joined the Penn College Admissions Office in 2005. While on campus Ben provides families and student groups with tours of our main campus in Williamsport. Ben is also responsible for transcript evaluations for the Schools of Hospitality and Industrial & Engineering Technologies.

Elizabeth Verbos, Admissions Representative

Elizabeth Verbos

Elizabeth is responsible for recruiting in portions of Eastern Pennsylvania (Carbon, Berks, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, and Schuylkill counties), and Northern New Jersey (Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties).

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State. Prior to joining our team in 2004, she held a position at the Williamsport/Lycoming County Chamber of Commerce.

While on campus Elizabeth provides families and groups with tours of our Main Campus in Williamsport and meets families at our Schneebeli Earth Science Center in nearby Allenwood. Elizabeth is also responsible for transcript evaluations for the Schools of Transportation Technology and Natural Resources Management. These schools encompass a wide range of interests from Automotive and Aviation to Environmental Technologies and Heavy Equipment.

Salvatore Vitko

Salvatore is responsible for recruiting in Western Pennsylvania (Alleghany, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Franklin, Fulton, Greene, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Somerset, Venango, Warren, Washington, and Westmoreland counties), and portion of Virginia (Fairfax, Fairfax City, Loudon, and Prince William counties).
