Meet Jess

  • Where did I go to school?

    I earned my Bachelor of Science in Earth and Space Science with Teaching and my Master of Education in Educational Psychology at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

  • Why Penn College?

    Penn College has excellent hands-on education with state-of-the-art lab spaces for every major. Skilled technical careers get a bit of a bad reputation, and they shouldn’t! It is my mission to help students find out about the amazing opportunities and programs we offer—and just how lucrative and in-demand these careers are—so they can make the right choice for their future. Not to mention, everyone on campus is so kind and accessible!

  • Favorite Vacation

    I love taking winter trips to Coudersport, PA to see the dark skies at Cherry Springs State Park, which is a Dark Skies Park designated by the International Dark-Sky Association. I usually plan the trip to line up with the Geminids meteor shower in December.

  • Favorite Place in Williamsport

    Boom City Brewing Company has great food, and the Susquehanna River Walk is great to get outside without going for a hike. For an all-out hike, I recommend trying out some of the Loyalsock Trail.

  • Favorite Activity

    I love hiking and camping, which there is a ton of around here!

  • Favorite Birthday Treat

    I love ice cream cake!
