Sigma Pi and the Penn College Men’s Soccer Team have joined forces to host a clothing drive to benefit the American Rescue Workers in Williamsport. The drive runs through Friday, April 26. Donation bins are in six locations across campus: Davie Jane Gilmour Center, Klump Academic Center, Keystone Dining Room, CC Commons, Dauphin Hall and the Breuder Advanced Technology & Health Sciences Center.

Nine Pennsylvania College of Technology students and one faculty member were recently inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the first and only international honor society for the computing and information disciplines. General Services’ HVAC and electrical crews recently installed a chiller from Sunbelt Rentals along the south-facing loop of the Breuder Advanced Technology & Health Sciences Center. The chiller will remain in place through Oct. 28. It’s a temporary fix for the building’s chilled water system – responsible for air conditioning – that failed last fall.

The 48th annual National Collegiate Landscape Competition proved to be fertile territory for the talents of Pennsylvania College of Technology students enrolled in landscape/plant production technology. At the powerhouse event held in Provo, Utah, Penn College placed 16th overall among 50 schools and achieved eight top-10 finishes in various categories. One student was awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
