Each November brings another opportunity for Penn College students to "Give Thanks" – a peer-to-peer initiative to express gratitude for those who invest in their success – and 2021 is no exception. In its continuing effort to address the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pennsylvania College of Technology recently distributed more than $7.3 million in emergency financial aid to current students. Nearly 4,300 students received the federal grants allocated from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III) authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.

The Student Wildcats of Robotic Design sponsored a well-received Fall Robot Competition in Penn College's Field House on Saturday, a daylong return to battle after a COVID-related break in the action.

Apprentices throughout the nation can enhance their career potential by completing a new degree at Pennsylvania College of Technology that augments their technical expertise. To be offered in Fall 2022, the apprenticeship technology major at Penn College leads to an associate degree for those who have completed a registered apprenticeship program or are currently enrolled in one.

Penn College's Student Engagement Office partnered with the American Rescue Workers on Friday night for "Box City," held outside the Bush Campus Center to raise awareness of homelessness and hunger. "I organized this event in the hope of showing how members of the homeless community are affected as the winter months begin," said student leader Kellor A.

The 13th Foundation Dinner & Auction at Pennsylvania College of Technology generated commitments totaling $600,700 for student scholarships.
