Keynoter Marguerite Santorine, of Lewisburg, Relay for Life's "Voice of Hope," told a devastating story through words of encouragement, healing and humor.

In addition to hosting the benefit, SNA members staff the auction table.

Phi Mu Delta brothers are among those walking for a cure.

Adding her colorful touch to the proceedings is Deanna M. Helverson, of Southampton, a software development and information management student.

Luminaria carry glowing messages of hope and empathy.

PCCA members (from left) Hayden N. Beiter, of Williamsport; Matthew M. Hober, of Basking Ridge, N.J.; and Michael J. Deragon, of Fort Washington; display a photo board memorializing loved ones who battled cancer. The board was designed and built by classmate Josh E. Rosenberger, of Waynesboro.

The builders' group also ran a spirited game of "Stump," which requires hammer-flipping, nail-pounding dexterity.
