Admissions Director Appointed at Penn College

Ashley R. Murphy has been named director of admissions at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Murphy comes to Penn College from Oregon State University, where she served as head advisor/director of operations for graduate business programs in the College of Business.
Previously, she worked at NIRSA: Leaders in Collegiate Recreation, where she was senior director of membership and marketing, as well as director of communications and marketing; New York University, where she served as director and associate director of admissions for the School of Professional Studies; and Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey, where she held the positions of assistant director of admissions, admissions counselor and admissions coordinator.
A Muncy native, Murphy holds a Master of Science in human resource management and development (with a concentration in organizational effectiveness) from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications (with a minor in Spanish) from Penn State.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ashley to Penn College,” said Carolyn R. Strickland, vice president for enrollment management/associate provost. “She brings a broad range of experiences in, and depth of knowledge about, admissions and enrollment management. She will be a tremendous addition to our staff and to the Penn College community.”
