Held in the Mountain Laurel Room of the Thompson Professional Development Center, the event included a welcome by Kimberly R. Cassel, director of student activities, and a keynote address by Jennifer D. Wilson, president and CEO of the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania. In her highly personal and inspiring message, Wilson discussed being a “cancer thriver” (her preferred affirmation over "cancer survivor") and offered pointers on confidence, compassion and paying it forward.
