Faculty Member Retains State Quality Assurance Status

Nancy A. Grausam, assistant professor of education and early childhood education at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently received notification from the Pennsylvania Keys to Professional Development of her renewal as a Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System instructor.



Nancy A. GrausamGrausam has been approved for an additional five-year period.

Status as a PQAS-approved instructor certifies individuals to provide professional development and technical assistance to early childhood and school-age professionals in Pennsylvania and is recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. PQAS maintains a registry of approved instructors to help ensure professional development activities meet quality standards.

Penn College has offered both credit and noncredit professional development to regional early childhood education providers for more than 20 years.

Grausam has taught full time at Penn College since 1993. She holds a master’s degree from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
