Opportunities for Penn College students, whether volunteering in the community or seeking a part-time job with an area business, were abundantly available at Tuesday's outdoor Fall Fiesta and Career Services' overlapping Part-Time Job Fair in the Bush Campus Center. About 75 participants staffed tables at the annual Student Activities event outside the Breuder Advanced Technology and Health Sciences Center, including campus organizations, Williamsport businesses, nonprofits and faith-based groups. The festive occasion was also documented in a YouTube slideshow, comprised of impromptu images captured by College Information and Community Relations co-workers as they apprised visitors of the department's various creative offerings. Good sports and good vibes ruled the afternoon, as students and faculty/staff grabbed "accessories" and posed – some of them with the Wildcat mascot – in a playfully interactive way to get acquainted. In nearby Penn's Inn, three dozen employers gauged interest and accepted applications from a steady stream of potential student workers.
