Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering a Getting a Grip on Computers class in October.

For those new to computers and the Internet, the noncredit class helps participants become more comfortable with computers, teaching them to create, save, retrieve, modify and resave files utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

The Internet will also be introduced, with plenty of time for questions and answers along the way.

The class will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Mondays, Oct. 3 through Oct. 24, in the Center for Business & Workforce Development on the college's main campus. The cost for the course is $199.

For more information about the class, the instructor and the facilities or to register call WDCE at 570-327-4775 or visit online.
