Giving Tree makes holidays happy for 200 area youngsters Each year, the Office of Children and Youth from Lycoming and Clinton counties compiles a list of children from underprivileged families that would appreciate gifts. This year,Student Activitieshad the names of 200 children, and the response from the Penn College community was overwhelming! Toys, clothing, art supplies, sporting equipment and music for children ages one month to 17 years were collected. Each year, Children and Youth is amazed and overwhelmed by the generosity of faculty/staff and students. This year certainly was no different; four trips were required to get the presents to the Lycoming Office of Children and Youth! Thank you toall who participated in this wonderful tradition, making the holiday season a little happier for an underprivileged child.
