Paraprofessional staff members spent an evening with the elderly engaging participants in jewelry making, crafts, baking cookies and assembly of a curio cabinet. The program was a wonderful opportunity for Penn College students to bridge the generation gap and learn more about individuals in the surrounding community. The program provided a meaningful experience for residents of Grace Street Commons between the actions of paraprofessional staff of Residence Life and the impact on their community. The service project ended with a raffle of assorted Penn College mugs, hats and T-shirts that brought a big smile to the faces of residents. ( Photos provided by Office of Residence Life)
