Professional-Development Activities Planned for Fall Break

It's hard to believe, but the semester really is half over! During Fall Break on Oct. 15, those people remaining on campus will have the opportunity to attend a wide variety of Professional Development sessions.

Guest presenter, Bill Bowler, senior vice president of Employee Services, the College's Employee Assistance Program, will offer three very informative and timely sessions:

  • Financial and Emotional Preparation for Retirement at 9:30 a.m.
  • Maximizing the Value of Your EAP Benefit at 10:30 a.m.
  • Personal Stress Reduction at 1:30 p.m.

Other sessions being offered that day include:

  • Adobe Acrobat training
  • Sexual Harassment Prevention for Supervisors
  • Online Library Catalog
  • Computer Security
  • Benefits Overview
