HOW DID YOUR COMPANY FIRST CONNECT WITH PENN COLLEGE?

Penn Power Group has been a long-time partner of Penn College, recruiting students and graduates. We sought to build a relationship that will serve our long-term workforce needs, as well as expose students in the diesel, heavy equipment, and power generation programs to careers at Penn Power Group.

HOW HAS ENROLLING AS A CORPORATE TOMORROW MAKER ENHANCED YOUR PARTNERSHIP WITH PENN COLLEGE?

Corporate Tomorrow Makers helps to connect Penn Power Group more strongly with the College and the programs that are of greatest interest to us. We were introduced to this program through our support of the Diesel Technology Competition and look forward to growing our recognition with current and future students.

Graduates will find lots of opportunity with Penn Power including a variety of different technician positions. There are also many technician trainee positions to choose from.

Do some research on the programs you are interested in. Narrow your choices down and completely commit to the one you choose. You will certainly make a career out of it.

WHAT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE PENN COLLEGE STUDENTS TO BETTER PREPARE THEM TO JOIN YOUR TEAM?

Research the company, the position you are applying for, and ask for interview tips from your advisors and teachers. Make sure to dress for the job and be prepared with questions for your interview.
