Job Shadowing and Mentoring
The Pennsylvania Career Education & Work Standards Toolkit provides resources for employers to sponsor internships and co-operative learning opportunities. Additionally, employers can become involved with career and technical education and career development by hosting field trips, participating in career fairs, and making classroom presentations to students.
National Career Pathways Network
NCPN is a membership organization for educators and employers involved in the advancement of Career Pathways, Tech Prep, and related education reform initiatives.

Standards Aligned System (SAS) The Standards Aligned System, developed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, is a comprehensive, researched-based resource to improve student achievement. SAS identifies six elements that impact student achievement: Standards, Assessments, Curriculum Framework, Instruction, Materials & Resources, and Safe and Supportive Schools.
U.S. Dept. of Education/Tech Prep
This program provides assistance to states to award grants to consortia of LEAs and postsecondary education institutions and designed to strengthen links between secondary and postsecondary schools.
