Support Construction & Design Students Heading to Competition

Members of Penn College's 'Race to Zero' team (from left): Zachary T. Robey, Peter L. Gauthier, Matthew R. Vent, Christopher G. Master, Justin D. Iman, Dustin C. Bailey, Samantha R. Callender, Michael J. Fonti and Adam T. Knoebel.

The Solar Decathlon Design Challenge – like our Penn College environment – provides a hands-on experience that challenges our students to design and build efficient and innovative buildings powered by renewable energy.

Our students will compete against other collegiate teams, and put their skills to the test using the latest technologies and materials in energy-efficient design, clean energy technologies, smart home solutions, electric vehicles, and high-performance buildings. The opportunities are boundless.

This year’s competition will take place in Golden, Colorado on April 12-14. We look forward to showcasing our student’s talents with the help of your support. Our goal is to raise $3,000 to help cover travel expenses for our students.
