Introduction to the radiography profession and the basic dilemmas a first-year radiography student encounters in his/her studies and work. Emphasis on patient care and education. Preparation to deal with patients of all ages, races, religions, social standings, and with varied types of injuries/illnesses. Focus on the importance of medical and legal considerations and their impact on the healthcare professional with emphasis on patients, their comfort and welfare during radiographic examinations and procedures.
