History of ethics in physical therapy and the addition of the 'Standards of Ethical Conduct for the Physical Therapist Assistant' will be examined as they relate to clinical practice, including decision making models for solving ethical dilemmas. Laws related to malpractice, liability, fraud, and abuse will be discussed as well as reporting mechanisms for suspected violation. 2 Credits (2 Lecture) Prerequisite(s): PTA215 and PTA220 and PTA230.
