Exploration of human movement including the necessary joint mechanics and muscle performance necessary for functional movements. Anatomy and physiology of muscle function as well as common pathologies of the musculoskeletal system will be reviewed for their impact on an individual's ability to create purposeful movement for both complex and simple motions.
