Basic Heating Systems (Installation)

Theory and lab assignments on the installation and troubleshooting of gas fired hydronic heating systems, setting and piping of gas-fired boilers, and installation of different types of hydronic heat emitters. Emphasis on the installation of different types of hot water piping systems, such as series loop, and one- and two- pipe systems; the theory and installation of radiant heating, secondary circuits, and hot water injection; and the repair and operation of natural gas piping, boilers, flue gas analysis and combustion efficiency testing. Spring Only.
