Fitness Testing and Interpretation
Theory and application of primary health/fitness assessment protocols administered to healthy and special fitness populations. Emphasis on the five core aspects of fitness assessments: body composition, cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility. Development of a broad knowledge base for various assessment procedures allows for informed decisions concerning tests to be administered and application of testing information in the development of exercise prescription plans. 2 Credits (1 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): BIO103 and PFS210.
