Adult Health Nursing III
Exploration of high-acuity medical-surgical nursing care of adult clients exhibiting the most complex health needs, delivered through various methods. Critical-thinking activities interspersed throughout the course, as well as a focus on research and evidenced-based nursing interventions provide the level of cognitive ability needed to function in the role of a baccalaureate-prepared nurse. Clinical experiences provide students with opportunities to apply theoretical concepts in high acuity, acute care settings. 7 Credits (3 Lecture - 12 Clinical) Prerequisite(s): NUR328 and NUR420. Corequisite(s): NUR461 and NUR494.
