Exploration of the nursing process when providing care to healthy children and those exhibiting common health problems. Application of age appropriate communication skills and nursing strategies during the interaction with children of different developmental stages in a variety of clinical settings. Topics include normal growth and development principles and their application.  3 Credits (2 Lecture - 3 Clinical) Prerequisite(s): NUR188 and PSY203 or NUR214 and NUR272 and NUR274.
