Exploration of the nursing process when providing care to healthy children and those exhibiting common health problems. Application of age appropriate communication skills and nursing strategies during the interaction with children of different developmental stages in a variety of clinical settings. Topics include normal growth and development principles and their application. The total clinical hours for this course is 45.
