Exploration of professional nursing care of diverse adult consumers exhibiting simple health care problems; study involves lecture, simulation, discussion, and clinical experiences. Continued emphasis on the development of professional behaviors, communication, and teaching/learning principles. Beginning use of informatics and evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate consumer-centered care. 7 Credits (4 Lecture - 9 Clinical) Prerequisite(s): BIO125 and NUR186.
