Introduction to basic principles of nursing practice through lecture, discussion, and hands-on practice. Emphasis on the nursing process and its importance in the development of consumer-centered care. The use of informatics and evidence-based practice are introduced. Professional behaviors, teaching/learning principles, and communication are emphasized. 45 hours laboratory hours and 90 hours clinical scheduled for this course.
