Accelerated study for eligible students, providing a pre-calculus background through meaningful development of concepts, the connections among topics, and the application of mathematics to the solutions of realistic problems. Topics include algebra, functions (polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric), analytic trigonometry, and systems of equations. This accelerated, one-semester course replaces the MTH 180 & MTH 182 combination; may not be taken for credit by students who have successfully completed those courses. 4 Credits (4 Lecture) Prerequisite(s): Placement by Examination.
