Exploration of advanced electronics principles needed for proper vehicle on-board system diagnosis; study extends beyond the wiring harness connector to the computer and explores solid-state electronics and microprocessor operation. Topics include sensors, signal inputs, signal conditioning, decision-making, logic circuits, outputs, and actuators. The course will culminate in the delivery of the latest "Ford Electronics Systems" STST instructor led course. Spring Only.
