Measurement and Tests

Theory and technique of electronic measurement and test systems. Topics include indicating, recording, and controlling systems for both analog and digital methods; standards of electrical measurement; sources of error and effects of noise; instrument limitations; and transducer effects. Computer-based data acquisition and analysis are stressed, including bus-style test systems development with automated software support. "Intelligent" sensor technology is included. Spring Only.
