Introductory exploration of the cognitive, communication, emotional, social, motor, and adaptive/self-help needs of young children (ages birth to eight) with disabilities, developmental delays or "at risk" populations. Topics include adaptive methods, early intervention services, assessment, inclusionary practices, available resources, the Individualized Family Service Program/Plan (IFSP), and the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). 3 Credits (3 Lecture) Prerequisite(s): EDU100 and EDU125.
