Study in the causes of human error and how that error impacts safety issues in the aviation maintenance department. Analysis includes relationships between management, pilots, and other flight crews; resource management plans; common errors; risk management; and technology advancements that have lead to error reduction. Case studies identify critical points in aviation incidents and accidents. Emphasis on developing a personal and organizational safety culture. 3 Credits (3 Lecture) Prerequisite(s): ENL201 or ENL121. (Science, Technology and Society)
