Basic introduction to the concepts of continual process improvement, the Deming management philosophy, statistical process control (SPC), and other process improvement philosophies. Focus placed on the practical application of management philosophies and use of SPC as a problem-solving tool. 3 Credits (2 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): MTH180. Spring Only.

Non-Destructive Testing I


Introduction to the principles and applications of non-destructive testing. Course work covers the theories and practices in liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and radiographic testing methods. 3 Credits (2 Lecture - 3 Lab)

NDT Quality Assurance


Introduction to advanced theories and practices in ultrasonic and radiographic testing methods. Emphasis on development of non-destructive testing procedures and the interpretation of code specifications and standards of test results. Course work includes research into other non destructive testing methods and the study of advanced techniques and practical applications of these methods. 3 Credits (2 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): QAL237.
