Study of the rules of procedure that are followed in a civil suit, from the commencement of the action through trial and appeal. Skills developed include researching a point of law and drafting pleadings, interrogatories, depositions, and motions. Emphasis on the role of the paralegal in this process, with special emphasis on the discovery process. 3 Credits (3 Lecture) Corequisite(s): ENL111. Spring Only.
