Application of Teaching and Learning Styles in the Allied Health Professions
Examination of the fundamentals of short course preparation for the adult learner. Topics include of the adult learning styles, writing objectives, short-term course development, evaluation and assessment, communication and motivation strategies of particular use in developing patient education sessions, continuing education and staff development courses in a health care settings. A variety of approval mechanisms used to award professional continuing education will also be studied. 3 Credits (3 Lecture)
