Community Inclusion for People with Disabilities
Exploration of issues related to community support for people with disabilities. Central theme identifies the history and philosophy of "support" as an organizing framework for the relationship of individual professionals and service systems to people with disabilities and their families. Emphasis on strategies, models, and resources that support the full participation of persons with disabilities and their families to live, learn, work, and recreate in their own communities. 3 Credits (3 Lecture) Prerequisite(s): HSR115 or PSY111.
