Ford Climate Control


Theory and operation of Ford climate control systems. Topics include proper diagnosis and servicing techniques, including recycling and handling of refrigerants and testing for system contamination. The course will also stress the effects of chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's) on the earth's atmosphere and substitute refrigerants will also be covered. Modern automatic climate control, dual zone climate control, and heated and cooled seat systems will be covered. The course will culminate in the delivery of the latest "Ford Advanced Climate Control System Diagnosis" STST instructor led course. 4 Credits (3 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): FMC120 and FMC130. Corequisite(s): FMC162. Summer Only.
