Ford Electronic Systems
Exploration of advanced electronics principles needed for proper vehicle on-board system diagnosis; study extends beyond the wiring harness connector to the computer and explores solid-state electronics and microprocessor operation. Topics include sensors, signal inputs, signal conditioning, decision-making, logic circuits, outputs, and actuators. The course will culminate in the delivery of the latest "Ford Electronics Systems" STST instructor led course. 6 Credits (5 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): FMC110 and FMC120. Corequisite(s): FMC140 and FMC161. Spring Only.
