Advanced theory and laboratory practice in continuation of prerequisite course work. Topics include automation of conveyor systems, pneumatic controls, robotics programming, interfacing of sensors and smart devices, and communication with devices using several industrial protocols. Emphasis on the integration of system components into a functional process center/work cell. Course work includes programming computer-human machine interfaces for operator control. Attention to electrical safety and good programming practices. 4 Credits (3 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): EET244 and EET250 and EET251. Spring Only.
