Family, Communities and Early Education

Examination of the strategies to develop respectful and reciprocal relationships among families, early care and education programs and communities that promote the development of healthy families and enhance the development and education of children. Topics include community characteristics, family involvement and partnerships and the diversity of family structure, religion, ethnicity and racial origin, culture, and language. Compliance with National Association for the Education of Young Children Accreditation Standards will be addressed.
