Theory, construction, and operation of steering and suspension systems, including component relationships, steering geometry, wheel alignment, rear and front suspension service, system repair, and wheel balancing. Conventional and electronic power steering theory of operation, diagnosis, and testing are included. Additional topics include hydraulic brake systems, including theory and service of braking systems, system components, system operation, troubleshooting, adjustments, and repair. Basics of antilock braking, stability control, and regenerative braking are covered.
