Avionics Maintenance Theory I


Study of avionics communication and navigation, focusing on the theoretical concepts and maintenance of High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) communication and navigation systems as well as audio integration systems used on aircraft. Emphasis on the subjects covered in the Federal Communications Commission General Radio Telephone Operators Examination. System analysis includes historical, modern, and future contexts. 3 Credits (3 Lecture) Prerequisite(s): AVC311 or AVI230 and AVI335. Corequisite(s): AVC314. Fall Only.
