The academic year is divided into fall, spring, and summer semesters. The fall and spring semesters are 16 weeks in duration; summer sessions vary in length. Students concerned about full-time status during summer should contact the Financial Aid Office.
Finals week is part of each semester. For all 16-week courses, finals week is dedicated to the activities related to summative assignments.
Exams are block-scheduled for three hours per course, between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Any student with more than three exams on a given day should consult with the faculty of those courses, and if necessary, the school deans, to make alternative arrangements for examination times. Students seeking alternative arrangements must do so at least two weeks prior to the start of finals week.
