This course introduces the essential knowledge and skills for industrial electricity from theory to application. This course is ideal for beginning or transitioning maintenance technicians who need to gain industrial electrical skills. Technicians will learn safety procedures, circuit operations, conductor selection, DC and 10 & 30 AC, transformers, how to use electrical test equipment, operation and installation of induction motors, and basic 2 & 3 wire motor control circuits. Practical troubleshooting techniques are emphasized throughout the course.
