In today's rapidly changing business environment, the ability to effectively manage projects is paramount. A well-managed project is completed on time and on budget, and it meets quality expectations. In this series of twelve half days, you will learn about the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in leading a project. This course is delivered in an experiential learning format. It offers a variety of activities aimed at allowing you to try out the concepts discussed and to consider this knowledge as it relates to your work experience and current situation. The series is aligned with the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide). We designed it for individuals who manage or anticipate managing projects, for example, technical specialists, front line leaders, project stakeholders, and other professionals involved in managing projects of any size. Individuals whose functions overlap with project management tasks will also benefit from this series. Upon successful completion of this course, participants may elect to pursue the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

There are currently no classes scheduled for this course. Please check back at a later time or contact Workforce Development to see when the course will be offered again.
