This course is the second of a four-part series providing maintenance technicians with intermediate level PLC training. The skills developed during this course focus on the tasks technicians routinely perform while maintaining and troubleshooting PLC controlled equipment in an advanced manufacturing environment. This course introduces the operation of timers, counters, and program control instructions. Laboratory exercises using interactive PLC simulation improves the technician's programming skills and troubleshooting methodologies, subsequently improving on-the-job performance and equipment uptime.
