Workforce Development Course OSHA 10 General Industry

This course covers OSHA policies, procedures, standards, and general industry safety and health principles. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous using OSHA standards as a guide. The course is intended to provide a general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards in a workplace. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 20 CFR 1910. Workers must receive additional training when required by OSHA standards on the specific hazards of the job. After successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA 10-Hour course completion card within 4 - 6 weeks.

There are currently no classes scheduled for this course. Please check back at a later time or contact Workforce Development to see when the course will be offered again.
