ICD-10 regulations are scheduled to go into effect in 2015. This training program is for those interested in upgrading their skills needed to work in handling proper insurance claims using ICD-10. This seminar will benefit anyone currently working in a Medical Billing and Coding or related position. Participants should have a good understanding of ICD-9 as a pre-requisite. Training will include Benefits of ICD-10 and Preparing for Implementation, Regulatory Requirements of ICD-10, The Affordable Care Act and ICD-10 Considerations, Potential Programmatic and Technical Problems and Solutions, Special Considerations (Medical Assistance and other Insurances, Mental Health/Illness Billing, Drug and Alcohol Billing).
