COURSE REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO ACTIVE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TECHNICIANS (FIRST RESPONDERS), MEMBERS OF A CERTIFIED HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TEAM, OR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE IDENTIFIED AS BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TECHNICIANS INVOLVED IN TRANSPORTATION AND ON-SITE EMERGENY RESPONSE. This 16-hour course covers the skills and competencies that are required to be successful in the role of a hazardous materials technician in gas field emergencies. Students receive the critical knowledge to safely respond to multiple types of hazardous materials emergencies. Course topics cover aspects ranging from role definition to implementing contingency plans. This course complies with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (q). PLEASE SEE PROGRAM NAT 175 IF YOU DO NOT MEET ONE OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED CRITERIA.
