The Lycoming Engines Service School training program includes the construction, theory of operation, and servicing of Lycoming reciprocating engines. It also covers the inspection, servicing, and troubleshooting of the related components. Designed to assist maintenance professionals in maintaining Lycoming engines, the training hours in the program can be used for qualification for the IA renewal program FAR 65.93 (a)(4). This four-day, 28-hour program is a prerequisite for the Disassembly/Reassembly training program.
