"I have been a Registered Nurse since 1975. I have enjoyed teaching medical-surgical nursing full-time since 1994. I thoroughly enjoy my teaching career at Penn College - mainly due to the variety of students I get to know each year. Students both challenge and affirm my love for nursing and teaching. I have high expectations and standards but believe that empowerment comes from postive encouragement rather than drill sergeant negativism. Nursing is a great profession - both an art and a science!"
